About this LDS Wedding

The bride, Lauren wanted an elegant, classic, Victorian feel for her reception. Her
colors were lilac/lavender, different shades of purple, and accents of ivory/cream, silver, and gold. Lauren’s sister, Dayna Magleby was the Wedding Planner. Her wedding gown and veil were made by Penelope of Salt Lake City. The gorgeous wedding cake was created by Carrie’s Cakes and wedding flowers were created by Jerry of Hillside Floral. Then the bride added some nicer ribbon around her bouquet that she found at “Dear Lizzy Boutique” and added a crystal and pearl brooch in the center of the bow.

The wedding invitations were ordered from http://www.savethedateco.com, and linens were ordered from Wildflower Linen in Heber City, UT. Chairs and Crystal Chandeliers came from Alpine Event Rental. The escort cards, table placement cards, quotes, menus, table numbers, monogram, entrance sign, “bride & groom” sign on chairs, etc. were creations of Paper Elements.

Rebekah Westover Photography captured this amazing wedding for us to enjoy. And Jesse at Liquid Vision Films did the videography.

DIY portion of the wedding: The ribbon trees were made with ribbon found at an outlet in Maryland while the photographer, Rebekah was home for the summer. She and her sister-in-law found and painted trees and then draped all the ribbon all over the trees as a beautiful backdrop to the escort card table and the dessert table. The birds for the favor boxes were made by the wedding party. They just slit a hole on the top of silver favor boxes (the little G monograms were made by Save the Date Co).

Votive and Chargers were borrowed; wedding picture frames were purchased from Michaels and Bed Bath & Beyond. Bubbles came from Wal*mart and the wedding party tied their own wedding ribbon on the ends. Monogrammed Napkins were found at Giftsin24.com and the Striped Straws from Amazon.com. Bridesmaids Dresses were from Nordstrom, Bridesmaids Jewelry from Bazinedezine, and shoes from DSW. Little boy tuxes were purchased from Janie & Jack their tiny bowties from came from DivineDomestication on Etsy.

La Caille, in Sandy, Utah, was the beautiful wedding venue where Lauren and Chris danced to the sounds of the Joe Muscolino Band. Then the bride and groom drove away in a Vintage Car from Something Vintage Something Blue!
